The Trainer Development Course is an in-service course for experienced teachers who want to make the transition from teacher to trainer, as well as experienced teacher trainers, who can attend it as a refresher course.
What does the course consist of?
The course comprises seven workshops. The introductory workshop focuses on teaching and training roles, and transferable skills. Subsequent workshops explore learning styles, motivation, feedback, materials evaluation, and practical delivery issues. The activities include group discussion, analysis, presentations, questionnaires and games. Activities can be adapted for participants to use both in teaching and teacher training contexts.
