IELTS test fees

The IELTS test fee for paper-based or computer-delivered is 2600 EGP. 

 Additional fees:

  • Test Day Transfer - 100 EGP 
  • Enquiry on Result / Remarking - 1200 EGP
  • Extra Test report Form 'TRF' - 100 EGP

IELTS test registration will be purely online. No paper registrations.

Payment options accepted are the following:

1. Credit Card (VISA/Mastercard only)

2. Debit Card (VISA/Mastercard only)

3. Online Bank Transfer (for BDO account holders only.)

4. Bank Deposit through our BDO account

Paper- based IELTS Test dates and locations

We offer IELTS tests in six locations across Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria, Mansoura, Port Said (Canal area), Tanta and Luxor. Wherever you choose to take your test, your registration will be handled by the British Council in Egypt. 

We currently run three to four tests a month in Egypt across our different locations.

You can use our online registration system to find up to date information about test dates and available locations.

The tables below show the available upcoming written test dates in Egypt. 

Please note: Your Listening, Reading and Writing test will be completed on the same day. Your Speaking test may be offered on the same day, or up to a week before or after your main test day. You will receive notification in advance by SMS if your Speaking test is on a different day to your main test day.
