British Council Egypt is celebrating its 80th Anniversary. As with any major milestone this provides an opportunity to reflect, both on our rich history and the journey that lies ahead.
We are commissioning a quality piece of historical research to review the British Council’s work in Egypt since 1938, examining our past activities (e.g. language teaching, education, artistic events and youth exchanges) and the impact of this work on individuals and institutions across Egypt.
