Student engagement programmes are extra-curricula activities delivered by the British Council as part of our vision to support students to obtain skills. We want to prepare students not only to their progression in schools or universities, but also for life. We want students to obtain 21st century skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and higher order thinking skills to be able to excel in life and their careers. Every year, thousands of bright young students register to take UK qualifications in Egypt and we have outstanding students, not only academically, but also students who master skills and would like to share it with the world. We are allowing students such a platform to show-case their skills and to create more opportunities for them
Code Club is a network of volunteers and educators who run free computer coding clubs for children aged 9-13 to build up their programming skills.
